Definitely the matchbook capital of the states, NYC has some fire books. From oversized ones at Manhatta, Dante, and Rosa Mexicano, to mainstays like Sant Ambroeus, Jack's Wife Freda, and Gramercy Tavern, there's a little something for everyone in the big apple.

Austin

I didn't realize what a mecca for matches Austin was until I visited in 2023. I think I shipped home nearly 100 matches! Some favorites include Nickel City (don't forget to try the frozen coffee), Hotel San José, Uptown Sports Club, and Take Heart Shop.

Chicago

The windy city is a sleeper hit in my (match)book — from cocktail bars such as Sparrow (one of my favs), Remedy, and Easy Bar, to restaurants like Maple and Ash, RPM Italian, and Bartaco.
